The partnership between Kubota and Coleg Cambria Llysfasi is an exciting opportunity that allows young agricultural engineers to gain practical skills in a sector leading workshop and a theoretical understanding of the sector. This opportunity sees students ‘earn while they learn’.

Whilst studying young people can expect to receive a number of qualifications, including:

• Level 3 Advanced Technical Extended Diploma in Agriculture Engineering
• Agricultural Engineering Skills Challenge Baccalaureate
• Essential Skills in Numeracy, Literacy and IT
• Additional Qualifications ie. Telescopic Handler, Abrasive Wheels and Welding etc.

To enrol on the Kubota training programme you must first gain employment with a UK Kubota dealership. If successful you would then become eligible to apply to become a Kubota trainee technician.

We have partnered with AGCO to create the AGCO Diploma Training Scheme allowing young agricultural engineers the opportunity to ‘earn while they learn’. 

The qualification is industry approved and provides both a theoretical understanding and practical experience of the sector. AGCO’s training schemes have helped many young people join the land-based engineering sector in the UK over the years.

Upon completion the training scheme is designed to help students progress into positions within AGCO dealerships across the UK.

To enrol on the AGCO training programme you must first gain employment with a UK AGCO dealership. If successful you would then become eligible to apply to become a AGCO trainee technician.
