This qualification covers all the skills, knowledge, and understanding you'll need to excel in the groundcare engineering industry. You will study a wide range of areas, including health and safety, calculations for service engineering, and workshop processes. You'll learn how to repair a range of turf and groundcare equipment, hydrostatic drives, vehicle systems, electric systems, and hydraulic systems, as well as how to test electronic and transmission systems. You'll also discover how to provide excellent customer service to clients and suppliers.

The Kubota apprenticeship is your chance to "earn while you learn." By successfully participating, you'll achieve an industry-approved qualification while gaining fantastic hands-on practical skills through a manufacturer-backed scheme and earning a wage.

How You'll Learn
You'll learn mainly through practical sessions in our sector-leading workshop, utilising the latest range of groundcare equipment. Classroom delivery is enhanced through a variety of trips, visits, and guest speakers. You'll engage with theory sessions, individual and group work, and practical tasks to deepen your understanding. The course also includes Manufacturer product Training by the Kubota training school.

Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to undertake external assessments to gain valuable certificates of competence.
