Discover Your Path in Land-Based Industries!
This course is perfect for school leavers or those who are home-schooled with few or no qualifications, ready to embark on a hands-on learning journey. It's designed to help you gain excellent practical skills across a variety of exciting land-based areas, including agriculture, horticulture, conservation, estates management and engineering. You'll develop essential practical skills such as feeding, health checking, and moving farm animals, maintaining habitats and footpaths, keeping green areas pristine, and carrying out basic motor vehicle maintenance.

Where You'll Study
You'll be based at our Llysfasi campus, nestled in the breathtaking North East Wales countryside of Ruthin, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Animals You'll Work With
During your studies, you'll have regular access to our 970-acre farm. Here, you'll gain hands-on experience managing our dairy cows and lowland and hill sheep, and participate in estates skills on the farm and within our woodlands.
