This industry-approved training programme is designed to help you secure a position within AGCO dealerships across the UK.
What You'll Achieve
This qualification provides you with all the essential skills, knowledge, and understanding needed for the land-based engineering industry. You’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of:
● Health and Safety: Learn crucial practices for a safe working environment.
● Service Engineering & Workshop Processes: Understand the calculations and procedures vital for effective maintenance.
● Engine & Vehicle System Repair: You'll master how to repair engines, vehicle systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems, and how to test electronic systems.
● Advanced Transmission Systems: Develop expertise in repairing mechanical power transmission systems, including synchromesh transmissions and clutches, powershift transmissions, and hydrostatic or hydro-mechanical (CVT) transmissions.
● Machinery Repair: You'll learn to repair cultivation or drilling machinery, application machinery, forage harvesting machinery, and combinable or root crop harvesting machinery.

5 GCSEs at grade D/3 or above including Maths and English Language/Welsh (1st Language)
OR Successful completion of a relevant Level 2 programme which must include achievement of numeracy and literacy.
You must be working for an AGCO approved dealer (Massey Ferguson, Valtra or Fendt) as a Trainee Service Engineer.
At Coleg Cambria we would encourage you to do the very best that you can in your exams. The better your grades the more options you will have, and may result in you gaining entry onto a higher level course.
