Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing

Ready to take your hairdressing skills to the next level? This Level 3 Diploma will help you develop your knowledge, skills, and creativity as a Hairstylist, preparing you for a rewarding career in the hairdressing sector or further study.

What You'll Learn

This one-year, full-time course is a fantastic blend of theory and advanced practical skills. You'll dive into:
- Advanced colouring techniques, including corrective colouring
- Cutting and styling for a professional finish
- Working with leading professional hair brands like L’Oréal Professional
- Performing a range of hair services on clients.

Alongside theoretical study, learners will gain practical experience through regular work experience sessions in our commercial salons and dedicated workshops. This course fundamentally focuses on developing essential employability skills. In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills, their awareness of environmental sustainability and their commercial skills, all of which are valued highly by employers.

The Level 3 Hairdressing qualification includes the following mandatory course components:
- Essential Skills Wales training and assessments
- Development of Welsh language skills
- Development of literacy and numeracy
- We have our own commercial salon that provides a WRE for them to develop skills.

Please note that your timetable may include some occasional evening sessions. Dates will be provided by your tutor on induction.
