Ready to launch an exciting career in barbering? This is the course for you! Our Level 2 Diploma in Barbering is designed to develop your practical skills and give you the confidence to excel in this growing industry.
What You'll Learn
You'll gain essential skills in:
- The creative art of cutting men’s hair
- Specialist techniques for cutting facial hair
- Providing effective shampooing, conditioning, and styling services
- Offering excellent client consultation services.
Alongside these practical skills, you'll develop a strong understanding of health and safety in the salon environment and what it's truly like to work in the hairdressing industry. You'll also build the foundational knowledge to support all your hands-on learning.

4 GCSEs at grade D/3 or above including Maths and English Language/ Welsh (1st Language), or successful completion of a Level 1 programme which must include achievement of numeracy and literacy.

Your underpinning knowledge and understanding will be tested through written assignments and exams, ensuring you grasp every aspect of the course.

Upon successful completion, this qualification can open doors to exciting roles directly within the barbering industry. You could start as a Junior Stylist or even work as an independent barber!
This qualification can also lead to further study, such as:

– Level 3 Barbering.
