Course Overview
Are you looking to build a more independent future? Our Pathway 2 programme is designed for learners who want to lead semi-independent lives after college, with ongoing support to help you thrive. This course will empower you to develop and maintain your independence, play an active part in your community, and prepare you for a work environment.

*Strengthen Key Skills: Improve your communication, numeracy, and digital literacy.
We believe in planning for your success from day one. You'll have an individualised timetable tailored to your specific goals, helping you progress towards your intended destination. Plus, you'll take part in person-centred reviews to track your progress and agree on exciting next steps.
Your learning journey is supported every step of the way:
*Personalised Goals: Each learner has an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) to record your unique goals and targets.
*Dedicated Support: You'll receive regular one-to-one support from your Personal Tutor to review your progress.
*Progress Coach: A Progress Coach will meet with you regularly to provide pastoral support and advocate for your needs.

This Pre-Entry course is intended for applicants with severe or complex, moderate learning difficulties.
Most students will be working towards Entry 1.
All applications are considered on an individual basis and offers are based on interview and a range of supporting evidence including prior achievements and a support needs assessment.
We ask all applicants to attend a taster session as part of the application process to establish their suitability, potential and additional support needs.
Learners suited to this course will have an Education plan (IDP or Education Health Care Plan) which details their additional learning needs. All plans are reviewed by our Inclusion Panel prior to acceptance on programme.
Applications for ILS programmes need to be submitted by the end of April so that we can offer learners a thorough and extensive transition into college.
Most students will be working towards Entry 1.

This course is a fantastic stepping stone! You could progress to a Pathway 3 programme, gain greater independence, explore supported living options, or discover a variety of work-related contexts.
