● Introduction to Emerging Technologies in Construction and the Built Environment Sector: Dive into the latest innovations shaping the future of construction.

In addition to these core units, you'll also gain practical skills in two trade areas, with a specific focus on Painting & Decorating.

4 GCSEs at grade D/3 or above including Maths and English Language/Welsh (1st Language) OR Successful completion of a relevant Level 1 programme which must include achievement of numeracy and literacy.

At Coleg Cambria we would encourage you to do the very best that you can in your exams. The better your grades the more options you will have, and may result in you gaining entry onto a higher level course.
To achieve this valuable qualification, you’ll successfully complete a range of assessments designed to showcase your skills and knowledge.

These include:
● One externally set, externally marked multiple-choice test.
● One externally set, internally marked project covering two trade areas, allowing you to demonstrate your practical abilities.
● One externally set, internally marked guided discussion, where you can share your understanding and insights.
● One externally set, internally marked health and safety test, ensuring you’re ready for a safe working environment

This qualification provides you with the essential knowledge you need to progress directly into an apprenticeship in your chosen trade. If you haven’t secured an apprenticeship upon successful completion, you may wish to continue your learning journey by enrolling on the full-time progression qualification course.
