Course Overview
This course is designed to provide the learner with the opportunity to learn about a wide range of topics that relate directly to this industry.
Some examples of the units that you will study are:
● UK Travel and Tourism Industry
● Travel and Tourism destinations
● UK Visitor Attractions
● Travel Agency Operations
● Tour guiding
● The Cruise Industry
● Responsible Tourism
● Airport experience
● Cabin Crew
● Customer service

● Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales qualification
● Development of Welsh language skills
● Work experience

There will be continuous assessment throughout the course using written and practical assignments, which will include presentations, promotions, events and role-plays. Some assessment may also occur in real life working environments on work experience placements in external organisations.
5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including Maths and English Language/Welsh (1st Language), or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification.
