Course Overview
This one-year, full-time NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sport is designed to immerse you in the exciting world of sports and fitness. The course content is divided into seven units across three vocational projects, giving you a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
What you will study:
* Practical Skill Development: This project focuses on hands-on experience, including participating in sport, developing your sports skills, and enhancing your tactical awareness.
* Working in Sport: You'll explore the professional side of sports through units like sports coaching, sports volunteering, and planning and running a sports event.
* Health & Lifestyle: This project delves into the fundamentals of well-being, covering an introduction to healthy exercise and nutrition, and the development of personal fitness through training.
What you will study:

4 GCSEs at grade D/3 or above including English Language/Welsh (1st Language) and Maths or Successful completion of a relevant Level 1 programme which must include achievement of numeracy and literacy.

Your progress will be continuously assessed through a variety of engaging methods, including written assignments, interactive presentations, podcasts, videos, panel interviews, practical performance, and the delivery of coaching sessions. All seven units are internally assessed and graded at pass, merit, and distinction levels.
Upon successful completion, you’ll be well-prepared for potential progression to a Level 3 Sport qualification or for employment at a foundation level within the sports industry.
