What You'll Study
This comprehensive diploma will equip you with advanced skills and knowledge, including:
- Anatomy and physiology
- Body massage
- Indian head massage
- Hot stone massage
- Facial electrical treatments
- Awareness of skin cancer for non-healthcare professionals.
Please note that specific units are subject to change to ensure our curriculum remains current and relevant. You'll also gain invaluable hands-on experience through regular work experience sessions in our state-of-the-art beauty salon and spa. Developing your employability skills is a core focus of this course, ensuring you're fully prepared for the workplace. We encourage independent study between timetabled sessions to help you get the most out of your learning journey.
In addition to your Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, your learning programme will include these essential elements:
- Essential Skills Wales training and assessments
- Development of Welsh language skills
- Development of literacy and numeracy skills
- A compulsory work placement
Your timetable will include some evening sessions, with dates provided by your tutor during Induction.
