You’ll be based at our Llysfasi campus in our purpose-built Agricultural Resource Centre. Llysfasi is located in Ruthin, North East Wales.
Our Farm Enterprises
You’ll have full access to our 970-acre commercial farm, which includes a 230-cow dairy herd, beef and sheep enterprises, and a range of forage crop production.

The course combines a variety of essential units:
● Health and safety for land-based industries
● Agricultural power units and machinery operation
● Crop husbandry
● Farm animal production
● Farm estate maintenance

4 GCSEs at grade D/3 or above including Maths and English Language/Welsh (1st Language)
OR Successful completion of a relevant Level 1 programme which must include achievement of numeracy and literacy.

● Moderated Assignment: You will complete one assignment, which is set externally, marked internally, and then moderated externally.
