You'll develop a wide range of skills through diverse activities and specialisms, including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, digital arts, 3D, and textiles. Get ready to experiment with various media, techniques, and approaches as you build an impressive portfolio of your own art, craft, and design work.

What You'll Learn
* Year 1 (AS Level): You'll dive into your Personal Creative Enquiry. This is an extended, exploratory project or portfolio based on themes and subjects that are personal and meaningful to you. This unit is internally assessed and externally moderated.
* Year 2 (A2 Level): Your journey continues with two non-exam assessment units.
Personal Investigation: This is a major, in-depth critical, practical, and theoretical investigative project or portfolio, which includes an extended written element of at least 1000 words.
Externally Set Assignment: This assignment is set by the awarding body.

Both A2 units are internally assessed and externally moderated.
5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English Language / Welsh (1st Language) and Maths, plus the following criteria:

Grade B/6 in an Art related subject.

At Coleg Cambria we would encourage you to do the very best that you can in your exams. The better your grades the more options you will have, and may result in you gaining entry onto a higher level course.
