Our Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care is designed to give you the skills, knowledge, and experience you need to thrive in the animal industry. You'll gain a varied overview of animal care, getting hands-on experience with a wide range of animals at our excellent Animal Care Centre.

We believe learning should be fun, so you'll experience a variety of methods, from lectures and group work and up to one day per week of practical work.
You'll also have the opportunity to improve your English and Maths skills, with support provided and potentially the chance to resit your GCSEs.

Your progress will be assessed through an examination, a controlled synoptic assignment, and a few controlled assessments. To help you prepare effectively, you’ll take part in mock examinations and informal practice assessments throughout the programme. You’ll also gain vital real-world experience through an external work placement in the animal care industry.

This course opens doors to exciting opportunities in the animal care sector! Upon successful completion, you could:
*Progress to a Level 3 Animal Management course
*Undertake a Level 2 Work Based Apprenticeship in Animal Care
