Course Overview
This qualification is designed to assess all underpinning knowledge aspects of food safety across the food industry as a whole to include:
The legal responsibility of food handlers and food business operators
Understanding food safety hazard
Personal responsibility for food safety
Control of food safety hazards
How to handle and record food safety hazards.
Multiple choice examination
No prior qualifications required, although achievement of a Level 2 HACCP qualification may be an advantage to some learners.
This qualification supports roles including;
Food Supply Chain Operative, Food Processing and Manufacture Technician, Food Sales and Service Technician and Food Safety/Quality Assurance Technician.
