Course Overview
This introductory course is intended for students who seek an overall understanding of cloud computing concepts, independent of specific technical roles. It provides a detailed overview of cloud concepts, AWS core services, security, architecture, pricing, and support.
Completing and passing this course will enable you to sit the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification exam, (sat externally), which you will be supported to achieve. The course includes the cost of this exam.

No prior knowledge is required other than a familiarity with the standard workings of a computer and standard software systems – however, past experience or familiarity with general IT and business systems is desirable.

The course provides you with the necessary knowledge and tools to help you learn how to understand the principles of cloud computing. Completing and passing this course can help prepare you to sit the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification exam, (sat externally to this course), should you wish to do so. You will also be eligible for a voucher for 50% off the cost of the exam.
£249 or free if eligible for PLA funding. To be eligible, you must be over 19, employed and earning under £30,596 per year or a furloughed worker (any salary) or self-employed
