Course Overview
This qualification focuses on the study of mental health and mental wellbeing, giving learners the awareness of a range of mental health conditions and the causes of mental ill-health.
On this course you will gain knowledge and understanding of conditions such as:

● stress
● anxiety
● phobias
● depression
● schizophrenia
● eating disorders

This qualification is designed for learners who want to increase their knowledge and awareness of mental health and a range of mental health conditions.
A grading scale of pass only. Learning outcomes are assessed through a portfolio of evidence.
Applicants must be 16 or over. Work or industry experience is not required.
This course can provide:

● Additional knowledge and skills for those already in employment that could lead to increased opportunities for promotion in the workplace
● Opportunities to progress to higher levels of study (eg. Level 3)
