Course Overview
What is this course about and who is it for?

This course is designed for a range of adult learners who may or may not have previous qualifications, and may have been out of education for a while. You may have an array of experience from your working career and may be considering a change in direction or even just starting to think about the career direction you would like to begin.

This programme runs for 6 weeks and will be delivered face-to-face at our Deeside site. Sessions run weekly and are 2 hours in length, 10am - 12pm.

The ethos of the programme is to help to build the confidence and resilience required for higher level study, whilst also offering an introduction / refresh for anybody who is considering a return to education.

On successful completion of this course, with advice and guidance from expert staff you will be advised on what your next options could be. These include:

● Access to HE Diploma in Health Care or Humanities/Social Science/Policing
This course is for anyone wanting to gain a career in Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy and other Allied Health Professions, as well as Teaching, Social Work and Psychology / Counselling.
● Vocational Course in Technical Studies.
● Higher/Technical Education @ Cambria University Centre.
There will be no formal assessments attached to this programme.
