A Digital Degree Apprenticeship offers you a flexible way to study a degree while in employment. Combining work and university education, this course will allow you to earn while you learn, in one of three cutting-edge streams.

This course is fully funded. It is delivered by Coleg Cambria in partnership with Bangor University, who will award the degree.

This is a three-year course. Delivery will consist of 9 hours of delivery per week in Year 1 and similar for Year 2 and 3 - to be split over one 6-hour day and one 3-hour evening. Delivery will be at Coleg Cambria for Year 1 and Year 2. Year 3 will be at Bangor University.

Advanced Data Management and Analysis (20 credits)

Work-Based Data Processing and AI Project (20 credits)
Work-Based Design/Implement Visualisation Project (20 credits)
This course material will be delivered through a combination of in-college and online delivery and assignments, and work-based assessment.
Students on this course will be required to undertake periods of self-study, additional to taught hours.
A Level 3 Vocational qualification with at least a MMM grade profile, 3 A Levels with a grade profile of Ds or above, an Access to HE Diploma to include 45 credits at level 3, 30 of which must be Merit or above, OR appropriate experience and ability to study and operate at Level 4. Each applicant is assessed on a case by case basis, depending on their own individual relevant experience. If you are unsure as to whether you meet the entry requirements or not, please contact us to discuss.

ESW Communications and Application of Number need to be undertaken at Level 3 unless the learner has GCSE English and Maths.

Students need to be in either full or part time employment, (minimum 16 hours a week), in an appropriate role.
Graduates successfully completing the BSc Applied Data Science will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the concepts and skills of software engineering and computing.

The skills offered as part of this course can provide graduates with the opportunity to work in many different areas of the software engineering and computing sectors.
This course is fully funded, subject to confirmation from HEFCW, which covers the full course tuition fees of £27,000, (£9,000 per student per year, over 3 years)
