New Student Days

New Student Days give you, as an applicant, the chance to meet your tutors and other new students, see where you’ll be studying in September, find out about student support and generally get a feel for what being a student at Cambria is like.

Transport

College transport will be available for the New Student Days on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st June. You can view the college bus timetables here.

Please note: Any students travelling on an Arriva bus will need to pay for their bus ticket for their New Student Day, however in September you will be issued with a bus pass.

FAQs

Our canteen will be open if you are hungry and you will be directed by our friendly staff.

We will provide you with a voucher for lunch to use in any of our onsite cafes or canteens.

Please ensure you wear sensible clothing which is suitable for your course.

Just bring yourself along with a pen and notebook.

We want you to enjoy your new student day. If you are anxious and need additional support for your wellbeing for when you arrive, please contact wellbeing@cambria.ac.uk.

We’ll be running student support fairs during the New Student Days on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st June. This will give you the opportunity to find out more about the support we offer students, clubs and societies, Active Cambria and more. Also, at Yale and Bersham Road, The Prince’s Trust will be there offering support with funding for uniforms, kits , etc, subject to eligibility.

We understand that people change their mind and that’s fine by us. Please contact the Admissions Team via email at admissions@cambria.ac.uk or 0300 30 30 007 and we will amend your application for you.

If you haven’t yet uploaded a photo of yourself for your Cambria ID card, please do so as soon as you can.  We need your photo to create your personal ID card for you to gain access around the college and access our food outlets.
