Course Overview

Suitable for supervisors, managers, safety representatives and those aspiring to become safety professionals.

This Unit is part of the full NEBOSH General Certificate qualification and is a level 3 standard (A level). It provides an understanding of workplace hazards and how to control the risks from them.

Unit NG1 Syllabus Content.

Element 1: Why we should manage workplace health and safety.
Element 2: How health and safety management systems work and what they look like.
Element 3: Managing risk – understanding people and processes.
Element 4: Health and safety monitoring and measuring
There are no formal entry requirements but workplace experiences will help as this is a professional qualification.
At the end of this unit, candidates will complete a digital 24 hour open book exam. This can be done at home or at work.

Please note that if there are any exam resits, fees will be charged to the learner and are not included in the original course fee.
