Course Overview
The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology is a preparation for work qualification that has been designed to prepare you for a career as a reflexologist. This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice and business practice for complementary therapies. Furthermore, you will learn about anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide reflexology services. This is a practitioner level qualification.
The units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. Units include:
● Principles and practice of complementary therapies
● Business practice for complementary therapies
● Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies
● Provide reflexology for complementary therapies
● Healthy eating and wellbeing for the complementary therapy client
Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety and client care. You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to provide a reflexology treatment.

• Evidence of prior learning or attainment

External assessment
Externally assessed question papers completed electronically will be set and marked by VTCT.

It is desirable that the learner will hold a level 2 qualification that is relevant to this sector.
Progression routes for learners will be to continue on to enroll on other level 3 qualifications and/or higher level qualifications. Ability to work solely as a mobile therapist or within the Spa and Beauty Therapy sector.
