Level 2 UAL Diploma in Creative Media

Our Creative Media Diploma offers a multi-disciplinary practice based programme of study, which will challenge and develop the skills required to proceed onto our Level 3 course.

You will develop multiple practical skills during the initial Boot Camp and work through 7 core units before specialising in your chosen area of study such as Filmmaking, Video Editing, Script Writing, Content Creation, Animation, Photography, Games Design, Digital Illustration, Graphic Design, App Development, Digital Print Media or Audio Production.

You will create meaningful media for different audiences across multiple platforms, making use of our green screen room, film studio, photography studio, animation area and radio suite.

You will also work in our Mac based studios using industry standard software.

Who is this course for?
If you are interested in Media, such as Photography, Film, Animation, Graphics and Games Design but have very little experience with the subject area then this may be the right start for you.

This course has been designed especially for students who want to develop Creative Media Skills. You do not need prior Media experience but an interest in Media is essential. You will gain nationally recognised qualifications whilst doing something you really enjoy and build your confidence in working in the broad subject of Creative Media.

What will I study?
This course will allow you to develop your knowledge and understanding of the Media industry and enables you to focus on a specialist area after an initial introduction to a wide range of disciplines.
The topics of study are currently Filmmaking, Video Editing, Script Writing, Content Creation, Animation, Photography, Games Design, Digital Illustration, Graphic Design, App Development, Digital Print Media and Audio Production.

Students who successfully complete this course will gain the UAL Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology.
