Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Makeup and Nails

The Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy is aimed at learners who wish to pursue an exciting career in Beauty Therapy.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding of relevant Anatomy and Physiology, Health and Safety and Consultation techniques. Alongside this you will work with professional brands like Dermalogica and leading nail brands, to develop your skills in manicure, pedicure, waxing, eyelash/eyebrow treatments, facials and make-up applications whilst performing Beauty Therapy services on commercially paying clients.
There will be opportunities to compete locally and Nationally in prestigious beauty competitions.

In parallel, you will develop communication and customer service skills, awareness of environmental sustainability and problem solving skills all of which are valued highly by employers.

In addition to the Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification, you will also be required to complete the following
● GCSE in English & Maths or Essential Skills Wales
● Development of Welsh language skills, through Welsh in the workplace.
