Course Overview

You will study: Automotive Electrical systems and diagnosis procedures.

● Recap basic electrical testing
● Steps of Diagnosis(confirming faults)
● Open circuits, high resistance and short circuit diagnosis
● Volt drop testing
● Wiring diagrams
● fault code readers
● Oscilloscope use for Can-buss

Ongoing assessment via tasks and tutor monitoring.

Sound knowledge of electric vehicle systems.
