Your Questions Answered

We’re here to help you get to and from college safely and easily. Here are answers to some common questions about transport at Cambria:

From September 2025, a subsidised contribution of £90 per term will be introduced for all learners using college transport.

This is a contribution towards your bus pass, with Coleg Cambria covering the remaining cost.

If you are unsure about your designated bus stop or route, please contact Student Services studentservices@cambria.ac.uk or Transport on transport@cambria.ac.uk.

Our team can provide guidance and help you identify your correct transport arrangements.

For September 2025 entry, if you follow this link and fill in the google form, you will be sent a payment link. You can also contact Student Services for more information.

If you miss the bus: It is your responsibility to ensure you are at your designated stop on time. If you miss the bus, you will need to make alternative arrangements to get to college.

If the bus doesn’t show up: Please contact the College’s Transport Line on 01978 515454 or go to Student Services.

We will investigate the issue with the bus provider and advise you on next steps.

Yes, financial support may be available. If you are concerned about affording the subsidised transport fee, please contact Student Services.

Our team can discuss options such as the Financial Contingency Fund (FCF), Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) (for 16-18 year olds), or the Welsh Government Learning Grant for Further Education (WGLG-FE) (for 19+ learners).

Apply as soon as possible.

Yes, all learners travelling on college transport will be required to have a dedicated Coleg Cambria Bus Pass. This is a specific card for transport, separate from your general student ID card. You should be prepared to show this pass to the driver.

Yes, all Coleg Cambria sites provide designated areas for secure bike parking. Please check the site maps or ask at Student Services for the exact locations of secure bike racks. For scooters, please ensure they are parked safely and do not obstruct pathways.

 If you lose your Coleg Cambria Bus Pass, please report it to Student Services as soon as possible. We will advise you on the process for obtaining a replacement. There is a £15.00 replacement fee.
