How the private sector and our partners are working to support people across the UK.

  • O2 has announced that their customers won’t lose any of their allocated monthly data allowance when browsing a whole host of support, advice and charity sites on their mobile. Macmillan’s website is one of the many charities and NHS websites that will be free to access in order to help its customers access the support they need, worry free, during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
  • Macmillan is working with Hello Fresh to distribute support leaflets for people who may need support during self-isolation,. These will be going out to 300,000 households between 28th March and 30th April, with key advice on how to access Macmillan support.
  • Our fitness partner, Everyone Active, is helping keep the UK fit in their own homes through a range of live workout classes that can be accessed at home. You can find out more here.
  • And our longstanding partner Travis Perkins have been supporting during the Covid-19 crisis by organising for 5 of their London branches to supply materials, hire gear and machinery to help with the changing of the Excel Centre into a 4,000 bed hospital for the NHS. They also continue to be on stand-by for any further requirements that need their support.
