You will work towards industry recognised standards on our modern and well equipped commercial farm, with our qualified staff who have a wealth of industry experience.

The farm extends over 970 acres, comprising lowland, upland and hill. You will be fully immersed in the operations of the commercial farm; activities include management of its three main enterprises – a dairy herd of 250 milking cows and 100 followers, 160 beef cattle and 1400 sheep, along with the associated crop and animal management activities required.

Students carry out duties on our farm additionally to their course to give them the experience and practice they need for the world of work.
