Course Overview
This qualification is for those who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in order to understand and undertake effective coaching and mentoring at level 5 within own organisational context. You will be able to demonstrate how to manage the coaching or mentoring process within an organisational context, deepen your understanding of how the organisational context can affect coaching or mentoring, plan, deliver and review your coaching and mentoring and plan your future development in coaching or mentoring.
Written assignment and learners are to identify suitable coachee/mentee’s to work with in the workplace to gather their practical evidence which will involve producing records from the mentoring activity eg contract/s, planning documents, direct observation of the learner’s performance by their tutor, oral or written questioning, personal statements, feedback from the mentee, recorded supervision.
Centres must ensure that learners are in a position to meet the assessment demands of the qualification
This qualification will provide progression opportunities to other qualifications such as:
