Course Overview
This course is a day spent with our animal keepers and will be very much hands on in the Animal Centre at Coleg Cambria, Northop.
You will get to meet a wide range of species and discover how to feed, clean out, handle and care for the animals.
The Animal Centre houses over 100 species, from iguanas, snakes, lizards, rodents, marmosets, rabbits, aquatics to a range of rare breed farm animals. The day will be a taster of all the areas - come and learn about animal care!
There are dates throughout the year so please check the short course handbook.

● Please supply details of any allergies, phobias, medical needs or additional learning needs, so we can ensure we tailor your experience to your needs
● Ensure you bring protective footwear (sturdy boots with steel toecaps)
● Wear old clothes and warm, waterproof clothing, depending on the weather, and bring a change of clothes
● Bring a pack lunch with you
● It is advisable that you have an up to date tetanus vaccination
