Course Overview
NEBOSH National Diploma is of a higher standard than NEBOSH National Certificate.
Units studied are:-
• Unit A: Managing health and safety.
• Unit B: Hazardous agents in the workplace.
• Unit C: Workplace and work equipment.
• Unit D: Application of health and safety theory and practice.
Units studied are:-
• Unit A: Managing health and safety.
• Unit B: Hazardous agents in the workplace.
• Unit C: Workplace and work equipment.
• Unit D: Application of health and safety theory and practice.
Assessment is by a combination of assignment and examinations.
The assignment (Unit D) is completed at the end of the course and involves the candidate reviewing the health and safety performance of an organisation and producing a justified action plan to improve performance.
In total, there are three written exams (Unit A, B & C).
Students successfully passing the NEBOSH National Diploma will satisfy the academic requirements for progression towards Chartered Membership of IOSH.
The assignment (Unit D) is completed at the end of the course and involves the candidate reviewing the health and safety performance of an organisation and producing a justified action plan to improve performance.
