Course Overview
The course is designed for people wishing to pursue a career in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. This qualification is equivalent to an A Level and is recognised as a Technical Certificate for an Engineering Modern Apprenticeship. This qualification will also be a great bridging course to a Higher National Certificate qualification (HNC).
You will study a range of topics that includes:
• Mathematics for Engineers
• Mechanical Principles
• Electrical Principles
• Engineering Drawing
• Industrial Robot Technology
• Health & Safety

Assessment is continuous throughout the course and is conducted through the completion of regular set assignments and class tests.
Applicants should have 5 GCSEs at A* to C or successful completion of a relevant Level 2 engineering qualification.
Upon completion learners/apprentices could progress to a higher education course such as HNC (Electrical or Mechanical).
