Course Overview
Understanding trauma and its potential impact underpins an inclusive and holistically safe setting, learning and work environment.

It plays a crucial role in fostering a resilient community and ultimately, a stronger society.

This training begins by exploring the concept of trauma, its impact on various mental health needs, and its potential effects in educational and lifelong contexts.

Additionally, the program delves into the development of inclusive and secure learning and work environments, guided by essential principles, strategies, and trauma-informed approaches, using the lens of a 'trauma-informed' perspective.

The training highlights how the National Framework for Wales aligns with our college's efforts and demonstrates our collaboration with external services and stakeholders.

Given the nature of the content, the training addresses some potentially sensitive topics. Ensuring your comfort and safety is paramount and we have taken steps to provide support if needed during the training.
