Course Overview
This qualification is designed for learners who have good business knowledge and skills, and are working in the floristry industry having plenty of experience in doing so and working toward a management role or senior florist. You must have achieved level 2 Award in Business for the Environment & Land Based Sector.
During your course you will develop understanding, skills and complete a range of activities including:
● Know the breadth and importance of an industry in the environmental and land-based sector
● Understand business resources and structures
● Understand the business marketplace
● Understand how to use financial and physical record keeping systems
Option units include building working relationships with customers and resolving customer service problems.

Four assignments will take place to assess competence and underpinning knowledge.
Learning takes place through the form of a mixture of discussions in the workplace, and guidance via a virtual learning environment of Google Drive and assessor support.

Suitable learners of all ages over 16 are invited to join anytime of the year. It is essential you have achieved the level 2 Award in Business for the Environment & Land Based Sector and are currently employed in this area of learning and have been so for some time. Your employer must be fully supportive.
All applicants will undertake a thorough training needs analysis to ensure that the correct course and levels are chosen. Work placements must comply with health and safety requirements and be vetted by the college before enrolment.
