Course Overview
This qualification is designed for learners who are working in a food business or supply chain environment. It offers learners the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge required to prove competence at work in team leadership roles.
The qualification provides food businesses and supply chain businesses with a unique combination of team management competences set in a highly focussed food business context. It has been designed to manage and improve team performance, quality assurance and deployment of business systems in a food business or supply chain environment.

Open distance learning and work based assessment.
Your Coleg Cambria Work Based Learning Practitioner will visit the workplace which must comply with working in a safe environment. Assessments will take place to assess competence, occupational and underpinning knowledge.
On line support is available through a virtual learning environment.
Learning takes the form of a mixture of observations in the workplace, written and oral questioning.
Accreditation of prior learning is also considered, but this can be time bound.

The qualification is available within the Welsh Apprenticeship Framework in Food and Drink. Learners are also able to achieve this qualification outside of the apprenticeship framework.
