Course Overview
A City and Guilds programme for: those who wish to gain a level 2 unit in MIG welding at an industry standard
Students will learn about the safe welding processes used in the Welding industry and how to carry out the following:
● Complete positional weld joints
● Complete destructive tests
● Work to weld standard criteria
● Make adjustments to welding sets
● Use correct PPE and eye wear

1. Underpinning knowledge to support a more advanced MIG welding skill

Must have an aptitude to understand and carry out practical work and have completed a level 1.
Candidates will be accepted who have a relevant industry background by interview
