This qualification focuses on the study of mental health and mental wellbeing, giving learners the awareness of a range of mental health conditions and the causes of mental ill-health.
On this course you will gain knowledge and understanding of conditions such as:
● stress
● anxiety
● phobias
● depression
● schizophrenia
● eating disorders.

A grading scale of pass only. Learning outcomes are assessed through a portfolio of evidence.
Applicants must be 16 or over. Work or industry experience is not required.
This course can provide:
● Additional knowledge and skills for those already in employment that could lead to increased opportunities for promotion in the workplace.
● Opportunities to progress to higher levels of study eg. (Level 3)

£300 or free if eligible for PLA funding. To be eligible, you must be over 19, live in Wales, employed (including self-employed) or;
