Course Overview
Class and workshop lectures guide candidates through the theory that underpins practical sessions associated with Level 2 Plumbing. The Level 2 Diploma units include:

Sanitation
Central Heating Systems
Drainage systems
Communication with others within Building Services

Assessment is by a range of methods including practical assignments and on-line exams.
The course is intended for adults wishing to retrain as plumbers or those working in the industry wishing to gain a diploma qualification. It is not a course for apprentices.
Candidates can progress on to Level 3 Construction & Built Environment or onto an apprenticeship in Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Installation, potential Building Services Engineer.
Please note – In order to be fully qualified as a Plumber you will need to fully meet the performance criteria as laid down in the National Occupational Standards. This is covered in the City and Guilds 6189 Level 2 and 3 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating. These qualifications have units which need to be assessed by candidates working in the industry.
