Improving Operational Performance – Engineering Foundation Apprenticeship Level 2
Learners will work towards a Performing Engineering Operations NVQ Level 2 and a Level 2 Technical certificate in Engineering. This programme is for new entrant Engineers and is on a day release basis over 2 years. The course is designed to set the foundation phase practical training and knowledge for an individual embarking on an Engineering career.
Engineering Manufacture – Apprenticeship Level 3
Learners will work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering with a specific pathway related to their role. These pathways are: Engineering Maintenance, Engineering Technical Support, Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Fabrication & Welding, Instrumentation and Control. All these pathways have a range of optional units to suit specific job role and a Training Needs Analysis is completed at the start of the programme to select the required units to meet the needs of the individual role and the company requirements. Individuals will be working in an Engineering specific or related role. The programme is approximately 24-30 months and day release for a Level 3 Technical Certificate in Engineering with the appropriate discipline is required over 2 years.
Advanced Manufacturing Engineering – Higher Apprenticeship Level 4
Learners will work towards an NVQ Level 4 in Engineering Manufacture and attend college on a day release basis to attend either HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Foundation Degree in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. Individuals will be in a more senior role within Engineering and have responsibility for workplace projects within an Engineering environment (approximate 24 month programme). Ideal progression route for individuals who have complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering.
