Fantastic assessment results were once again achieved by local CIM learners at Coleg Cambria.

In the last assessment session, three groups of students were either completing modules on the CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing course or the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing course. These CIM assessments are externally assessed by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, with all students on all modules passing their December assessments first time.

Stephanie Littler, CIM Programme Leader and lecturer at Coleg Cambria said:

“We are very proud of our continued 100% pass rates. CIM qualifications are well respected by industry and globally recognised and are only awarded to students who perform well in the assessments. Passing a CIM assessment is therefore a real achievement and provides evidence of the successful students’ practical marketing skills. These skills can make an immediate impact on business performance and positively affect the bottom line.”

Not only can CIM qualifications provide a good return on investment for local organisations but they can lead to improved employee performance and career success for individual local marketers.

Abby Jackson, a CIM student from Thew Arnott, Deeside Industrial Park said:

“I’ve really enjoyed studying CIM at Coleg Cambria. It’s helped my development in work with my new marketing role”.

The CIM courses Coleg Cambria offer continue to be very useful to local learners as they provide the opportunity to acquire practically relevant, up-to-date digital and traditional marketing skills at different career levels, in a fun and engaging learning environment.

The college is currently recruiting to the CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing course which will run from 26 April to 5 December 2017 at Northop. Students may also join the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing and the CIM Diploma in Marketing courses from September. The next Digital Essentials module runs from 5 September to 5 December at the college’s Northop campus.
