University Funding/Student Finance Talks
With the deadline for this year’s UCAS applications approaching fast (15th January for anyone who requires a reminder), Student Finance Wales will be hosting informal drop-in sessions this week for anyone who may have questions regarding the funding of their future studies.
These will be taking place between 10.30 am – 1.00 pm at Yale (Grove Park) on Wednesday 6th January, on the ground floor of the LRC, and Deeside on Friday 8th January, in the main foyer just outside the entrance to the Learning Zone.
Next week and into February, a series of presentations by Kay Vizard-Kotkowicz for the Student Loans Company, detailing the funding process for going to University, will be held at various of Coleg Cambria’s campuses. The talks are intended to give students an overview of the student loan process, and will include information on how to apply, what you might be entitled to, what grants, loans and bursaries are, and procedures for repayment.
Dates, venues and times are as follows:
Tuesday 12th January: Deeside 9.00 am & 10.00 am – Conference Centre
Tuesday 12th January: Northop 12.30 pm – R22/23
