We’re Here to Help
As we all settle in to the academic year, please remember that your Library teams are here to help and provide as much practical assistance and advice as possible.
If you’re having problems logging-on to any of the college systems, we can reset your passwords for the computer network, your Gmail account/Chromebooks, BKSB and ProPortal, and advise how to connect to the WiFi – just come to our Issue Desks or Helpdesks and a member of staff will be able to assist you.
If you’re working in one of the Libraries and need IT assistance or help with printing or photocopying, just come and ask.
If you’d like to use a Chromebook, laptop, iPad or Samsung tablet whilst in the Library, please bring your college ID card to the desk and we’ll be glad to loan one to you.
If you need to find books and/or e-books for your course or just out of general interest, research or pleasure, have a browse of our Heritage catalogue, which is available both on- and off-site, or, if you’d like more help, ask one of the team and we’ll help in locating what you require. Our experienced and qualified staff can also offer advice across a range of subject specialisms and areas of interest.
Our e-resources, including books, journal articles, the television and radio recordings archive eStream and links to many external websites, can be accessed from any platform capable of connecting to the internet 24/7, so even when our site libraries are closed we remain able to provide for your information needs.
