You will be working with Autistic adults in their home and a community environment. You will be providing support to people with autism and learning difficulties to look after their own home, manage their anxieties, develop their skills and experiences and live their lives as fully as possible in the Flintshire area.
Being a support worker takes bravery, patience and commitment, but working with Autistic people gives so much more in return. You will need to be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. No previous experience needed as full training is provided to ensure all of our support workers are experts in autism.
Transporting and supporting individuals in the community is a core element of the role, therefore possession of driving license (a minimum of one year) is essential.

About the apprenticeship …
This manufacturing apprenticeship programme is shift based and is designed to develop your skills and knowledge over 3 years to work on our machinery safely and efficiently. Throughout the programme you will work with an assessor from Coleg Cambria.
You will obtain a nationally recognised apprenticeship in manufacturing. Qualifications include NVQ L2 Performing Manufacturing Operations and L3 Process Industries Operations.

You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications at grade C/ grade 4 or above including Maths, English and a Science subject. You will need to be 18 years old and have a real interest in manufacturing.

This position, funded by the Welsh Government, plays an important role in NDNA Cymru’s Cwlwm work. The role supports early years and childcare practitioners with Welsh language skills. The post holder will co-ordinate NDNA Cymru’s Welsh language project and provide support to practitioners on increasing their use of the Welsh language. Travel will be required to undertake this role.
The role will include:
-To establish and manage robust procedures and systems to support the co-ordination, delivery and monitoring of the Welsh Language project
-Identify target areas, settings and recruitment of practitioners for the delivery of training courses
-Working with Cwlwm partners in the early years and childcare sector, to ensure co- operation and joint working across this sector to deliver the Welsh language project
-Promote the development of Welsh language skills by providing information on the Welsh Language diagnostic assessment tool and training offered, encouraging practitioners to sign up for the training
-Co-ordinate course locations suitable for the training working closely with the training provider, the National Centre for Learning Welsh and Cwlwm partners to ensure these are suitable for practitioners.
