Entry Requirements
We award places based as much on life skills and experience as we do on subject-related qualifications. As a result, we have a diverse student community made up of college leavers as well as mature students looking to progress or change their career. Our exact entry requirements are listed in the individual course outlines.

Fees and Funding

Higher Education students can get access to a variety of financial support. The Student Loans Company offer loans and grants for studying higher education courses at Coleg Cambria. Eligibility depends on the course type and where you live.
Some of our Higher Education programmes can be studied as part of a Higher Apprenticeship. There is currently a charge for the HE element of the apprenticeship, however the rest of the apprenticeship framework is funded by the Welsh Government.
Bursary for current students
For September 2019 starts we are offering a £1,000 bursary for all current Coleg Cambria students who study certain Cambria degree courses:
Bursaries will be awarded in two instalments, term 1 and 2, to students on programmes who have paid their fees.
