Specialist teaching facilities include well-equipped Science laboratories, computer suites and art studios. All students have access to the latest technology and are encouraged to use the university style library which has space over three floors to undertake private study.

The creative industries facilities at Yale are some of the best in the region and include Creative Art Enterprise Centre, Memorial Art Gallery, Regional Print Centre, Music Production Suite, HD TV Studio and a professional theatre.

Commercial facilities include the recently renovated Salon Ial and professional training restaurant Hafod. Yale Nursery is available to support students with childcare.
