We have strong links with engineering businesses to allow you to progress your engineering career.
Learn using the latest equipment such as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electronic rigs.
Depending on your course or apprenticeship, you can learn a variety of mechanical and electrical techniques including aerospace engineering, electrical maintenance, CAD, mechanical, electronic and manufacturing engineering.
Enhanced Engineering Programme
Our Enhanced Engineering Programme is a pre-apprenticeship programme designed to progress learners into employment or onto a full time Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship.The programme gives learners the technical, practical and behavioural skills that employers want. Over the past few years since its introduction, over 75% of learners have gained apprenticeships with local and international companies. A key part of the programme is the work experience element which allows learners to put their skills into practice in a working environment. Further programmes of study are also available on successful completion of this 1 year programme.

Highest Number of Medals for WorldSkills FinalistsColeg Cambria students brought home more medals again this year from the national finals of the WorldSkills UK Show at Birmingham, a higher number of medals than any other college in the UK.
Gold medals were won by Jason Williams, 21 from Meliden, Olivia Crabtree, 21 from Mold and Leigh Clarke, 21 from Wrexham.
