Coleg Cambria recently attended the the annual Royal Welsh Show at Llanelwedd, Builth Wells.

Visitors gathered at the college’s stand to learn about the different courses on offer and to take part in a range of activities including milking Daisy the cow and competing in an exciting competition to to win a Heiniger Icon Cyclone Handpiece.

Cambria staff enjoyed meeting new faces and old alike, with college alumni visiting the stand based in the Lantra building.

The Royal Welsh Show is the highlight of the agriculture and land based sector calendar and Coleg Cambria were proud to have had the opportunity to sponsor the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Sheep Shearing Competition.

Coleg Cambria Assistant Principal and Director of Curriculum, Vivienne Martin said, “Coleg Cambria Llysfasi had an excellent few days at the Royal Welsh show, it was pleasing to see old and prospective students visiting the stand.

“We are delighted to be part of such a prestigious agricultural event and part of an exciting future in agriculture.”
