“My goal is to pursue a career as a doctor, with genetics currently the field of interest. My confidence grew so much during my time at Cambria, Olwen Kiff was incredibly helpful with her medical background, she offered invaluable advice and guidance, especially through the college's medical club, where she organised meetings, gave us personal advice, and gave us opportunities to speak with medical students.

That support played a huge role in helping me get into the degree and university I wanted to go to. “The main obstacle I faced over the past two years was having confidence in myself. However, being surrounded by other students going through similar experiences made a huge difference. Because Coleg Cambria is such a large and diverse college, it was easy to find people with similar ambitions and interests, which made me feel supported and understood throughout the process.”

“A standout moment in my course is Chicago. All the classes are merged into one big production. So it's this huge event in our course. It's never been done on our course, so it's really exciting and it's a chance for us to meet new people who aren't usually in our class, learn new choreography, dances, acting and new challenges and skills. “We do a lot of tap, a lot of routine, a lot of jazz, a lot of routine work.

We've got a great tutor, Claire, and she knows everything about dance. We have Claire as well for voice, but that doesn't just include singing. That includes vocal movement for acting and accents. "Future: acceptance at Rose Bruford College. This is prestigious because it is an elite, world-renowned conservatoire. The highly competitive audition process ensures that only the most dedicated talent is selected to join a rigorous, industry-focused programme."

“The practical side of the course was definitely a stand out for me. It was very hands on, which helped me build my confidence and put what I’d learned into practice. The tutors were always supportive and encouraged everyone to achieve their best, which made the learning experience really enjoyable. “I’ve always wanted to work with animals, so choosing this course felt like the right step for me. I wanted to expand my knowledge and develop the skills needed to help me achieve my career goals and gain the confidence to work professionally in the industry. .

“My future plans are to continue growing my own business. I’m currently working towards offering dog training services alongside the dog walking, pet sitting and dog microchipping services I already provide. I’m excited to keep expanding my skills and help even more dogs and their owners. I’d also love to continue speaking to students about my journey, sharing my experiences and showing them how I got to where I am today. I hope it encourages others to follow their passions and believe in what they can achieve.”
