Overview

We are based on the Yale Campus, but our team is made up of learners from all sites across Coleg Cambria. Each year sees girls from different clubs in North East Wales coming together to compete for Coleg Cambria. We have had successes in the AOC league and also at Wales competitions.
Train

Training is held on Wednesday afternoons where we focus on skill development, strength and conditioning and also strategy development.

Matches are also scheduled for Wednesday afternoons.

Play

Our Netball team competes in the Association of Colleges Sport (AOC) North West League 1.

We also take part in Welsh Colleges tournament, which if successful the team represents Wales at British Colleges. As well as this we compete in the Presidents Cup.

Work

Links with Welsh netball offer our players the opportunities to develop their umpiring experiences. Also those with an interest in coaching will also be offered the opportunities to volunteer at local netball clubs.

Learn

We believe that students studying on all courses at Cambria should have the opportunity to represent our elite teams. We are committed to combining academic and sporting excellence, supporting our students ambitions in the classroom and on the field of play. In our most recent Estyn report, inspectors rated the College as ‘excellent’, making Cambria one of the most successful colleges in the UK, and the highest performing college in Wales.
