Overview:

The Cambria Chaplains are here for everyone: for people of all faiths, and none. They are here if you need someone to talk to, to listen and support. They are an ecumenical team, which means they have chaplains from a variety of Christian backgrounds including Anglican, Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, and Free Church Chaplains.
Throughout the year chaplains support a variety of college events including Activity Fests and Mental Health Week, as well as highlighting Christian festivals. They can also facilitate student groups where students might want to meet others with similar beliefs or explore the big questions. Chaplains are also very happy to pray with you, or for you, if this is something you would like. They are also happy to share their personal faith with you, but they will never tell you what to believe, or try and make you change your own belief.

Faith Advisors:

We also have Faith Advisors to ensure we can support people of all faiths and none. At the moment we have Bahá’í, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Quaker Faith Advisors. Throughout the year they highlight a variety of religious festivals, visit places of worship, and offer Q&A’s with people of different faiths, presenting an opportunity to learn about other beliefs and values.

Facilities:

Our facilities have places where you can pray, be quiet or meditate, and at Yale we have washing facilities. For more details, please go to our website where you can find out more about our team, see what we have been up to, and see what is coming up.
